Content module

'Regular' content uses a module called 2SXC. This is like a Swiss army knife when it comes to content management. Out of the box it is shipped with over 30 content types. All in a way anyone can understand and the layout won't break. You want more content types? It can be done but you'll want to have your web developer do this.

For developers:

HTML module

On a couple of places the HTML module has been used. Reason for this is it can interpret tokens. These tokens are snippets of code with logic like what amount has been raised so far.

Forms module

The forms in the donation platform are built using ActionForm. This module connects the website with the payment provider, for instance.

Buut it can do so much more. You can create any type of form, with any amount of fields, dependencies, dynamically built option lists, add unlimited actions to submit buttons etc. This is how you can not only make a payment but send a mail to the donor, yourself, submit to the news letter and present a thank you text.

This modules has been crafted by a company called DNN Sharp and it is not open source. Tjep's digital agency has a continuous subscription that we offer to charities to use for free.In case you prefer to host the platform yourself, you can purcahse a license starting from 150 USD.

MyTokens

This module is able to capture code (HTML, Razor, SQL etc) in a token. This token can be used in modules that are compatible like the HTML module. A token looks like  [token] and we can use it to show the number of successful payments or the total amount of money raised.

Action Grid

This module works seamlessly with Action Form. It allows you to easily get data from :

  • Submitted forms
  • Data from a database

And subsequently you can show this data in any way you like.
We use tis module to show donors. If you don't want that or prefer another solution, this module is not necessary
